Pick of the Day

Silent Witness, BBC One, 9pm

Nikki (Emilia Fox) and the team return in the first part of a new case. In tonight’s episode of the crime thriller, a schoolteacher disappears prompting the team to investigate evidence found at the house, including traces of blood.

Meanwhile Thomas attends the murder scene of a former drug addict and is determined to win justice for the victim. As always, the case will include a large amount of advanced forensic science as the team race to solve the case in this high tempo, intense crime thriller.

Concludes tomorrow night.

The Sporty Choice

The FA Cup Fourth Round Draw, BBC Two, 7pm

The draw for the FA Cup always brings about a great amount of attention and intrigue. During the third round, League Two Plymouth Argyle took Liverpool to a replay with a draw at Anfield and they will be among the more interested spectators.

National League side Sutton are still in the hat, after drawing with Wimbledon, and with be tuning in to see if they have the incentive of a tie against a Premier League giant waiting for them in the fourth round.


Comedy Option

Sue Perkins hosts as team captains Richard Osman and Josh Widdicombe return for the second episode of the second season of the comedy panel show.

Tonight, the two teams answer questions revolving around famous ‘Alex’s’, in the show that features plenty of laughs, banter and hilarious trivia.

Gabby Logan, Danny Baker, Adil Ray and Kate Williams star on tonight’s show.


British Laughs from Across the Pond

Carpool Karaoke Special, Sky 1, 8pm

Another chance to see highlights from James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment from his Late Late Show episodes over in America.

Former Gavin and Stacey creator and star Corden drives around with a number of high-profile musical stars, chatting to them and singing some of their biggest hits in the car.

This round-up of the best bits features the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Adele.
